At The Business Cyprus, we place the highest priority on reader privacy and data security. Our news portal operates on a cookieless, privacy-first architecture without third-party ad-tracking cookies or behavioral profiling pixels.
1. Cookieless Visitor Analytics
To measure article performance, power our “Most Read” section, and improve technical reliability, we process strictly anonymized statistical metrics. No tracking cookies are placed on your browser during your visit, and your raw IP address is never stored in our database.

2. Newsletter Subscription
If you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter via the footer form, we store only your email address, preferred language (TR/EN), and subscription timestamp. Your email address is never sold or shared with third parties, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
3. Browser LocalStorage
Our “Save” (Bookmark) feature and your privacy banner acknowledgment are stored exclusively on your own device using browser localStorage. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
4. Ad Impression & Click Counters
Banner slots on our portal only increment aggregate impression and click counters. We do not build personal profiles or track which individual reader clicked an advertisement.
5. Third-Party Links & Embedded Media
External links and social sharing buttons are governed by the respective platforms’ privacy policies. Embedded YouTube videos use privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
